Shaq Injury Update
Shaq has missed the last 2 games (bruised knee), and now it seems that no one seems to know when he will be back. Reports range his return from this Friday to after their upcoming 4 game road trip (which starts Sunday).
"I figured I'd cover all my bases," head coach Doc Rivers jokingly told ESPNBoston.com.
"I don't know if he'll even play on this upcoming trip," added Rivers. "We don't know that, but just watching him move, he didn't move very well [during Wednesday's team walk-through]."
I hope you guys are ready for this all season long. Not just with Shaq, but we all know KG is going to go down for at least a little while, Jermaine O'Neal always misses time, Perkins is already out and so on. They Celtics want home court in the playoffs, but the an aging team the most important thing is being healthy by the time the playoffs come around. So what does this all mean? Not much, but we are going to get to see a lot more of Semih Erden, which I am OK with.
