I don't think they played that bad last night but the end of the game execution may have been the worst I have ever seen a Doc Rivers coached team perform. Being down one with plenty of time left Rajon threw up a floater that missed. Then Mike Conley sunk 2 free throws pushing the game to 3. During the next Celtics possession somehow the ball got into Big Baby's hands and he heaved up a 3 with 7 seconds left. This was the most confusing shot, normally the Celtics are really good at staying poised and making the extra pass and they panicked. After the miss, Marc Gasol got the rebound and we fouled him and he gave us an extra opportunity by missing both free throws. We called the timeout and advanced the ball to halfcourt. We got the ball to Pierce 10 feet behind the line and he just didn't get an appropriate look and missed the last second shot.
We were our own worst enemies last night.
Just a very frustrating loss because we shouldn't have lost this one.
