The Knicks are trying to snap a 2 game losing streak, and the Celtics are just trying to find themselves. As I said when writing about Rondo and his "problems" he is the key to the Celtics. If he isn't going to the hoop and making the defense collapse then guys like Paul Pierce are not going to be anywhere near as effective. Rondo hasn't been doing that in a couple weeks now, and you have to question when he will be back to being himself.
I am a little worried about this game. Not just because Rondo isn't playing well, but the Knicks can score, and the Celtics biggest problem lately has been the fact that offense is brutal. Yes, Rondo is the key, but you have to wonder if the Celtics are going to be able to keep up. The good news is the Knicks play NO DEFENSE at all. So, if Rondo ever had a chance to breakout of this "slump" it should be against this team.
I think Rondo breaks out of his slump and Paul Pierce has a big night.
