92 Celtics, 80 Pacers
It wasn't a must win game, well, not really however it was good because they have been playing unenthusiastic and just plain awful recently. Last night was different, they played excellent defense and the bench played extremely well.
Let me touch on Rondo right now who was 0-2 with 8 assists. His defense was definitely better and his passing was on point, however on offense he isn't aggressive. He's not getting to the line or the paint, he seems to have lost all confidence in his ability to penetrate. I'm going to say that this is a slump, but it's weird because normally in games we need to win or play well in he steps up to the plate.
Update
"Rondo’s playing hurt," said Garnett. "He’s hurting. He’s giving us everything he has. He’s grinding. He’s playing countless minutes for us, and he’s not playing like a washed-up guy."
Bench him Doc, we got Delonte back
Jeff Green may have had his best game as a Celtics as he 19 points and played stout defense on Danny Granger holding him to 15 points. Delonte West looked pretty good in his return. He looked very in sync with the second unit.
Overall great win.
It was cool seeing Mike and Tommy night too. Mike is probably my favorite play by play guy in all sports.
