Sox To Retire Pesky's Number

The Red Sox will finally retire Johnny Pesky's No. 6 on Friday, during their final series of the year, which happens to be against the New York Yankees (that won't be in the playoffs..HAHA). Pesky has working in some way for the Red Sox for 57 years. I am so happy that they will do this before he is dead. A lot of the time people like Pesky don't get to enjoy a ceremony like this, since the team tends to do it to late and the player is gone. Pesky is a WWII vet, and has been nothing but a class act for the Red Sox. Even when the MLB was being assholes and won't let him be in the dugout anymore. Congrats Pesky...you deserve this day...Enjoy it.
