Troy Brown Retires
I think we all knew Troy Brown was done, but it was made official today. Troy Brown ended his 15 years career, all of which were played with the Patriots (very rare for that to happen). Brown is the all-time Patriots leader in receptions at 557 and his 6,366 yards receiving are second only to Stanley Morgan's 10,352. Brown was the key player in so many offenses that struggled with star power. He was also a great special team player, and when the Patriots had injuries in the secondary even played conerback. Brown is the ultimate team player, in a day and age of players like Ocho Cinco, and Terrell Owens, it is great to see a guy like this get his time in the sun. I have always been a huge Troy Brown, not only for what I have already state, but also for the fact that he burned the Steelers on so many occasions. You will be missed Troy Brown, but I expect to see his name on the rafter with the other great Patriot players of all-time.
