Week 7 Power Rankings
1) Tennessee Titans (1) (6-0)- The Titans are an odd team because they are 6-0, but I still don't take them seriously. last week they ran for a billion yards with rookie Chris Johnson and LenDale White if they keep that up, it could be scary.
2) Pittsburgh Steelers (2) (5-1)- Whooped the Bungals, and Ben is playing amazing and 3rd string running back Mewede "In Case Of" Moore did a hell of a job filing in.
3) Tampa Bay (3) (5-2)- Jeff Garcia or Brian Griese can both get the job done, if that re-energized defense plays the way they have been.
4) New York Giants(7) (5-1)- The team is playing solid defense and as long as Eli plays mistake free football they will be fine. That is a big if though.
5) Washington Redskins (6) (5-2)- Clinton Portis has been running out of control this year. As long as he stays healthy the Redskins will fight for the top of the NFC East.
6) Buffalo (8) (5-1)- It is amazing what Trent Edwards has been doing with this team. He has a great nucleus of young players to build with.
7) Philadelpha Eagles (5) (3-3) Had a bye week.
8)New England (18) (4-2)- I don't get this team. One week they are amazing, the next week they look totally beatable. If Cassel can keep some consistency the team is pretty good. Also, Sammy Morris did a hell of a job last night.
9) Carolina Panther (17) (5-2)- Another team I can't figure out. They have the players, but have no consistency. Beat the hell out of the Saints last week.
10) Arizona (11) (4-2)- Bye week, this high because of defaut.
11) Atlanta (13 (4-2)- Bye week, this high because of default.
12) Dalas Cowboys (9) (4-3)- Brad Johnson was the worst QB I have ever witnessed. Probably watch for Tony Romo to play next week.
13) Green Bay Packers (14) (4-3)- Aaron Rodgers is the real deal and the defense did a hell of a job containing the Cots.
14) Chicago Bears (19) (4-3)- Where the hell did the 48 points come from last week. Where the hell did the defense go. Obviously this won't happen again.
15) Indianapolis Colts (4) (3-3)- What the hell happened to the offense we saw last week. Peyton Manning fell apart against the Pack last week.
16) San Diego Chargers(10) (3-4) Destroyed the Pats, then lost to the Bills. What happened to LT?
17) Denver Broncos (15) (4-3) Looked terrible verse the Patriots. With Jay Cutler
hurt they may be in for a tough stretch.
18) Jacksonville Jaguars (16) (3-3) Bye week.
19) Baltimore Ravens (21) (3-3) Flacco looked better and the defense looked a hell of a lot better than they did the week before.
20)Minnesota Vikings (22) (3-4) Vimings put up 41 points against a good Bears defense. Unfortunately they gave up 48.
21) New Orleans Saints (12) (3-4) Another team I don't understand. Amazing one week, dud the next. With Reggie Bush hurt the Saints become very one dimensional.
22) New York Jets (20) (3-3) I hate Brett Favre, I hope they don't win another game.
23) St. Louis Rams (26) (2-4) Beat the Cowboys big last week. Proves Jim Haslett is a good coach.
24) Miami Dolphins (25) (2-4) Always seem to keep it close then lose. Looks like the Wildcats offense has been found out.
25) Oakland Raiders (31) (2-4) Beat the Jets in overtime. Jamarcus Russell looks good if he doesn't rush.
26) Houston Texans (24) (2-4) Andre Johnson is the real deal, and rookie runningback Steve Slaton is pretty good himself.
27)San Fransisco (28) (2-5) I believe the Mike Singletary will be the real deal. But JT O'Sullivan isn't.
28) Cleveland Browns (23) (2-4) Brady Quinn time?
29) Kansas City (29) (1-5) Larry Johnson could be spending more time on the bench for spitting at a woman.
30) Seattle Seahawks (27) (1-5) As long as Hasselbeck is on the bench, the Seahawks arn't going to win.
31) Cincinnati Bengals (30) (0-7) They are this high because they are not named the Lions.
32) Detroit Lions(32) (0-6) Terrible, terrible team. Should be ashamed of themselves.
