A little bit of a rant coming: Chris Simms recently signed with the Broncos yesterday and I noticed that ESPN had it as breaking news. How could this possibly be breaking news? Chris Simms sucks and always has going back to his days at Texas. Why on earth would a bad back-up be breaking news? I would rathe have any back-up in the NFL than him. Hell Rex Grossman looks like a franchise qb compared to him. I remember when he came out of Texas people were talking like he is the next big thing (even though he choked in the bowl game and Major Applewhite had to bail him out). On Tampa Bay the controversial Jon Gruden stuck with him through the thick and thin even though he was costing his team numerous amounts of games. If anyone can defend Simms, please do? But for this DC writer I say fuck him and die.
