Florida Douche Bag Goes Pro

Florida guard Nick Calathes will declare for the NBA draft but will not hire an agent, leaving open the option to return for his junior year. Calathes earned First-Team All-SEC honors from both the league coaches and Associated Press, averaging a team-high 17.2 points per game and a UF-record 6.4 assists per contest. He was the only player in the nation to average better than 15.0 points, 5.0 rebounds and 6.0 assists per game on the year. Calathes sucked in my mind, and will be a second rounder in this years draft. If he stayed a third year he would be a definite first rounder. he has good size for a guard but I don't know if his weight will translate to the NBA.

and speaking of guys who were O.K. in college and are going pro Georgetown junior DaJuan Summers is skipping his senior year and declaring himself eligible for the NBA draft. He could turn into a Donyell Marshall type of player, but I have a feeling he will fall flat on his face.
