ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- Fred Jackson never gave up on his pursuit to make it in the NFL, and now the Buffalo Bills running back has the lengthy contract to prove it.
Jackson signed a four-year contract extension on Wednesday as both a reward for his perseverance and his ability to provide the Bills' running game a valuable one-two punch behind starter Marshawn Lynch.
This is a great deal for the Bills, as Marshawn Lynch has been somewhat disappointing on both on and off the field and with the way teams are running the two running back system, they needed to do this. I am putting a guarantee that Fred Jackson will be the starter by year two of this contract, because Lynch will either be traded or in jail by then.
