103 Lakers, 94 Nuggets
Well the Nuggets once again found a way to throw away another game. They were up by 7 points at one point, then decided to not play defense or any good type of defense. The Nuggets simply couldn't take a good shot, or stop any of the role players from the Lakers.
Lamar Odom was the real reason the Lakers won as he had an outstanding game on both sides of the court. he finished with 19 points, 14 rebounds and 4 blocks. This is the first game that he actually produced. Kobe only had 22 points, but his team really stepped it up in crucial situations. Pau Gasol finished with a double double, and Derek Fisher proved to be effective scoring in double figures. The Nuggets were constantly overplaying on defense, leaving someone wide open for a lay up or a jump shot. The Nuggets really lost two winnable games and I'm fearing that they will not be able to go to the finals because of their immaturity and stupid play down the stretch.
J.R. Smith had a terrible game as he was 1-10 from beyond the arc and Melo once again finished with over 30 points, but a lot of his shots were a poor selection.
Hopefully, the Nuggets can fix these problems quick.
