Tyson's Life Gets Worse

Honestly, I didn't think it was possible, but Mike Tyson's life just got a whole lot worse....

"The near-fatal strangulation of boxer Mike Tyson's 4-year-old daughter appears to be a "tragic accident," police say. Exodus Tyson was on life support Tuesday after apparently accidentally hanging herself on a cord dangling from a treadmill in her modest central Phoenix home. "Somehow she was playing on this treadmill, and there's a cord that hangs under the console -- it's kind of a loop," police Sgt. Andy Hill said. "Either she slipped or put her head in the loop, but it acted like a noose, and she was obviously unable to get herself off of it." Exodus' 7-year-old brother found her Monday and told their mother, who was in another room. She took Exodus off the cord, called 911 and tried to revive her. Responding officers and firefighters performed CPR on Exodus as they rushed her to a nearby hospital, where she was in "extremely critical condition" and on life support, Hill said (Sportsline)."

Mike Tyson is a bad person, but you have to feel for a guy who was on top of the world, and lost it all. On top of that he might lose his daughter today. Tyson has always been troubled, and after he lost his trainer (who was like a father) he completely lost it. Now as he finally seems to have found some kind of peace, this tragic accident happens. I was a huge Tyson fan, and still believe he is one of the most dangerous fighters of all time. My hope is that his daughter recovers, but if she was strangled for too long she might have brain damage. We wish the Tyson family the best...

***Update***
The 4-year-old daughter of boxer Mike Tyson died at a hospital Tuesday, a day after her neck apparently got caught in a treadmill cord at her Phoenix home, police said.

Exodus Tyson was pronounced dead just before noon, police Sgt. Andy Hill said. She had been on life support and police have said their investigation showed her injury on Monday was a "tragic accident."

Too bad. Whenever a child dies it's pretty tragic.
