Smoltz 2nd Rehab Start
Smoltz was out on the field yesterday playing for Double A Portland yesterday and once again he looked good. This time he want 3 1/3 innings allowing 1 run on three hits while throwing 36 of his 60 pitches for strikes. He fired his fastball between 89 and 91 miles per hour. Overall it seems that everyone was happy with the way Smoltz pitched yesterday. His next start will actually be in Single A on Sunday when he will increase his workload to around 75 pitches. Right now he is on track to come off the DL on June 16th.
