Kessel Injury Update
"Phil Kessel underwent successful left shoulder surgery today at Massachusetts General Hospital to repair a torn rotator cuff and labrum. Dr. Peter Asnis and Dr. J.P. Warner performed the procedure. Rehab and recovery will sideline Kessel for up to six months. Kessel is not expected to be ready for the start of 2009-10 (Boston.com)."
That is good news that the surgery went well and they didn't seem to find anymore damage then they already thought was there. My hope is the fact that he will not be ready to start the season will lower his price to resign with the Bruins. It is a very long season thought and it probably won't...
Kessel was an important part of the Bruins success this year. He had 70 points in 70 games, and I really want to see him back next season...
