BOSTON -- New England Patriots third-round draft pick Tyrone McKenzie will miss the 2009 season with a torn ligament in his right knee.
This doesn't hurt the Patriots that much because you can never predict what a rookie is going to do, especially a third round pick. However, it does hurt their depth at that position, which mean Roosevelt Colvin may be receiving another call this year. McKenzie was a good looking LB out of USF, but we will wait until next year to see if he pans out to be anything more than a practice squader.
