"Tampa Bay Buccaneers cornerback Aqib Talib was arrested early Thursday and charged with simple battery and resisting arrest, both misdemeanors. According to a report from the Pinellas County, Fla. sheriff's office, Talib, 23, was arrested early Thursday morning by the Florida Highway Patrol. He was booked and released on a total of $300 bail at about 6 a.m. Thursday, according to the report. Details of the arrest were not immediately available, according to Tampa-area media reports on the arrest (ESPN)."
Yesterday the Bucs lost a safety for 4 games for violating the leagues substance abuse policy now it looks like they will lose a CB for a couple of games. You would think Goodell will hit him with at least a 2-3 game suspension, especially since he resisted arrests. Not a good start to the Buccaneers season.
