"Picking up on an earlier post, defensive end Kevin Carter, who has been in talks with the Patriots, will likely be in town tomorrow, according to a league source. Should things go well during his visit with the Pats, don’t be surprised if the 14-year veteran, who turns 36 next month, hooks on, and provides some depth on the defensive line (Boston Herald)."
This would be a nice pickup, but I can't say there is a real need for it unless he can somehow play some OLB. Either way, he is a good pass rusher with over 104.5 career sacks, and what may be even more amazing is that he has never missed a game in his entire career (224 games). We'll keep you posted on when/if he signs.
