Red Sox @ Jays Preview (Lineup Is In)

You got to feel for Buchholz. It seems like every time he takes the hill it is against an ace. Tonight is no different as he goes head-to-head with one of the best in all of baseball...Mr. Roy Halladay.

Halladay is having another Cy Young type season with a 13-5 record and a 2.65 ERA. In his last 2 starts he has pitched a total of 16 innings letting up only 3 runs with 10 k's. Boston's only shot is for Buchholz to have a really strong outing, especially since they will be playing without Pedroia again tonight as he is back home for the birth of his child.

Buchholz is quietly putting together some nice outing. His last 2 starts he has pitched a total of 13 innings letting up only 3 runs. The thing to watch with Buchholz is his command. He has a tendency to get really wild when things start going wrong, which usually leads to his implosions. The same was said about Grienke a couple years back, so hopefully this is the same type of thing, because the Sox really need another pitcher other then Lester and Beckett to step up.

***UPDATE***

With Pedroia out of the lineup again Nick Green once again takes his spot. J.D. Drew takes Pedroia's normal spot at #2. Lowell sits today, while Youk plays 3rd, and V-Mart once again is behind the plate with Tek sitting once again. Here is a look at the rest of the lineup...

1. Jacoby Ellsbury, CF
2. J.D. Drew, RF
3. Victor Martinez, C
4. Kevin Youkilis, 3B
5. David Ortiz, DH
6. Jason Bay, LF
7. Casey Kotchman, 1B
8. Nick Green, 2B
9. Alex Gonzalez, SS

Game starts at 7:07pm on NESN.
