Although he had a better year his first year, he is still a fucking beast. In his two years being the league he's had a total of 315 total tackles. That is absurd. Patrick Willis is one of the most athletic and explosive linebackers already in the league. He's been just as much of an impact player as Ray Lewis was when he went to the Ravens minus the whole murder thing. He has incredible instincts to "sniff out" the ball carrier and solid tackling skills. Willis has good speed and quickness and can cover a lot of ground sideline to sideline. He is strong and powerful and delivers the big hit to his opponents. I don't think that SF will have a top 5 defense this year, but they are certainly getting the pieces and Willis is the center piece of that defense. Plus, Mike Singletary is a defensive guy and will be able to come up with something that will only make Patrick Willis that much better.
