White Chocolate is Back
After a year out of the game to spend more time with his family, Jason Williams will be making his NBA comeback as close to his family as possible.
The veteran point guard on Wednesday signed a one-year deal with the Orlando Magic believed to be worth the league's veteran minimum of $1.3 million, choosing the opportunity to play behind Jameer Nelson with a championship contender over a return to the Memphis Grizzlies. ESPN
I don't know how effective he will be figuring he took a year off and will need more than training camp to get his legs back. He will be a decent back-up but his stats have gone down three years prior to his retirement. This will be looked at as a great move by the Magic, but in reality this is no different than signing a guy like Stephon Marbury.
