College Football Picks

Back to my winning ways as I was 3-1 last week, raising my season record above .500 again at 25-24. Here are my picks for this Saturday's games:

12:00 PM - ABC
#10 Ohio State Buckeyes @ Michigan Wolverines
Remember when this rivalry was significant? OSU's clinched the Rose Bowl, Michigan needs a win to be bowl eligible. The Wolverines are 1-6 in the Big Ten, and are only 4-6 against I-A opponents. Ohio State wins this scrimmage.

Prediction: OSU 48, Michigan 12



12:30 PM
Oklahoma Sooners @ Texas Tech Red Raiders
Even with the injuries, OU's season has been a disappointment. But if they win their next two games, they could be looking at a Cotton Bowl berth. Texas Tech has also fallen off from last season, but they were supposed to do so. Tech wins this one in Lubbock.

Prediction: TTU 31, OU 24

#25 California Golden Bears @ #17 Stanford Cardinal
Stanford's been a big surprise this year, beating Oregon and USC. If not for a close loss to Arizona, they'd be on the inside track to a Pac-10 title. Cal is one of those default Top 25 teams, they're there because who else would be there. Stanford is actually good and will prevail in this game.



8:00 PM - ABC
#11 Oregon Ducks @ Arizona Wildcats
I feel an upset here. It's a night game (evening game) on the road. Arizona is 6-3 wit ha 4-2 conference record. Arizona beat Stanford earlier in the year, and haven't lost a home game. Oregon has been up and down. There's no real football basis for this pick, it's just a feeling.
