Shaquille O'Neal has been cleared to return to play in Wednesday's finale at Atlanta. It will be the Cavs last game before the playoffs this weekend. This puts the Cavs in an interesting situation, as Lebron has been sitting out since the Cavs have already secured home court throughout the playoffs. The question is do the Cavs need 1 game before the playoffs with all their stars playing again?
To me it's a no-brainer. Yes.
These guys need to at least get through a game together, so there is some kind of comfort going into the playoffs. Will it be enough? Probably not, but something is better then nothing in this situation.
I actually agree with DP that Shaq coming back could actually hurt this team. It slows them down, and at this point Shaq just isn't that much of an asset. It will be really interesting to see what kind of shape he is in, and how much they plan on playing him.
