Just a little over a month has passed by since Tim Welsh became the head coach at Hofstra, and already he has resigned.
Welsh is resigning in response to his DUI charge early Friday morning. Police found him basically asleep at a green light behind the wheel of his Lexus in Levittown!
HAHAHAHAHA!
Wow! I mean I think we've all driven around a little buzzed now and then. Definitely not a good choice, but that is something you expect from John Daly or Allen Iverson, not Tim freakin' Welsh!
Anyway, Welsh is actually a pretty decent coach, and I think Hofstra could have been a nice fit for him. They'll compete for as many NCAA bids as Providence will in the Big East. But, so much for that.
As a Rams fan and Friar-hater this thrills me to see this.
PC SUCKS!
