Indy 500/Coca-Cola 600 Recaps

Right, you don't like racing, so move on to another post, hater.

Dario Franchitti led 155 of 200 laps to claim his second Indy 500 title. The race ended under caution for the 13th time since 1940, which will spark some conversation. But Franchitti had the best car all day long, and was rewarded for staying in front.

Pole-sitter Helio Castroneves finished 9th. Danica Patrick worked her way up from the 23rd starting spot to finish 6th.

When you hear the name Dario Franchitti, you expect some Italian guy. Nope.

Dude's Scottish. Yeah. And he's married to Ashley Judd.

The NASCAR Coca-Cola 600 did not end in caution, but the winner was just as dominant. Kurt Busch led 252 of 400 laps, including the all-important last lap. He won by a pretty healthy margin. Points-leader Kevin Harvick salvaged an 11th place finish.
