Logan Mankins Wants Out

"At this point, I'm pretty frustrated, from everything that's happened and the way negotiations have gone," Mankins said in a phone interview. "I want to be traded. I don't need to be here any more."

Mankins had until 11:59 p.m. ET to sign his $3.26 million tender. Asked his plans in regard to signing the tender, Mankins said: "There is no way that I'm signing that thing." ESPN

Knowing the Patriots this probably means he will be traded or released. They normally don't tolerate this, but you can't blame Mankins. He has been extremely solid for the Patriots offensive line and has put in his time to earn a contract extension. If the Patriots do cut him lose, this will hurt them a lot, especially in this heavy rush division. I mean who wouldn't want to leave N.E. their time is long over.
