Red Sox @ Indians Preview

Coming off their most lopsided loss of the season, the Red Sox have no pitcher they'd rather send to the mound tonight night than Jon Lester. Lester wasn't sharp to start the season, but he has come on strong and is looking like a Cy Young candidate (Yes, DP over your beloved Dice-K). He is currently 7-2 with a 2.73 ERA with 81 Ks in just 79 innings....amazing.

Still, this might not be an easy win for the Sox. The Indians have Mitch Talbot on the mound and he has accounted for nearly 1/3 of his team's wins. He is 7-4 with a 3.54 ERA. Last time out he beat the White Sox going 7 innings allowing only 1 run. Boston has not been lighting up the scoreboard lately, so he could give them problems.

I still think Boston is going to win tonight thought. I like when this lineup is going against a righty, and it is just a matter of time before they get it going again.

Boston wins 5-2
Player of the Game: Lester

Game starts at 7:05pm on NESN.

Here is the Sox lineup for tonight...
