4 Giants, 0 Rangers
Even though no one is watching this series, you have to appreciate the pitching that is happening. The Giants to a 3-1 series lead over Texas, that leaves them pretty much dead in the water.
The Giants turned to their young rookie Madison Bumgardner to win this one. Bumgardner was in a groove all game as he tossed 8 shutout innings with 3 hits and 6 Ks.
Aubrey Huff and Buster Posey backed their young lefty with home runs. The Giants are actually a real cool story. They are led by rookies and nobodies and are about to win the World Series.
The next game is a pitching match up for the ages as Cliff Lee takes on Tim Lincecum.
