Von Wafer is on the list of players without fully guaranteed contracts and he is hoping to be on the roster by Wednesday night. That will guarantee his contract for the season because he would still be part of the roster on Jan. 10. ESPN
I know it's not January 10th yet, but the Celtics really can't afford to cut anyone. Von Wafer was impressive last night, and if he can play the Michael Finley role where he just doesn't screw up, I'll be fine with him. His minutes are most likely going to go down as Delonte is expected to come back in 3 weeks and with the way Quisy has been playing we can't afford to bench him either.
Plus having another 3 point shooter around is never a bad thing.
