109 Celtics, 96 Lakers

I know regular season NBA games shouldn't mean that much, but this game certainly did. After the Celtics lost the crushing game 7 they came out strong Sunday and finished even stronger.

Everyone pretty much had a great game for the Celtics. Paul Pierce who always plays big in LA finished with 32 points, KG had a double double with 18 and 13, Ray Allen had 21 and Rajon Rondo had 15 of his 16 assists in the second half, and also had 10 points. It was a complete spread effort and played unbelievable team defense.

Kobe did have 41 points, but it was a real quiet 41 points. We played incredible team defense on him starting with Ray Allen. Kobe of course also had 0 assists....typical.

Perkins played 27 minutes of very tough basketball, he combined with Glen Davis to shut down the Lakers big men for most of the game. Davis took some huge momentum killing charges.

The Celtics have to feel pretty confident about this win, especially since we did it without Delonte West and Jermaine O'Neal aka 6 more fouls.
