Bruins @ Canadiens Preview

THERE WILL BE BLOOD.

Or at least that's what everyone is telling me. Last time these two teams played the Bruins kicked the shit out of them...literally. There was 182 penalty minutes, and even a goalie fight. Apparently Canadien fans were none too pappy about that, and the papers up there ripped them for being "soft", and questioning their "manhood".

If that's the case you could see the Canadiens looking to drop the gloves early, but to be honest that would be a terrible idea. The Bruins are a much tougher team, and they will just kick the shit out of them again.

Now, to the actual game. The Bruins and Canadiens are both red hot. Montreal is looking for their 5th straight win, while the Bruins are 7-2-1, and up 5 points in the Northeast Division. Also, as we all know, the Bruins are a hell of road team, so I expect a win tonight.

The key will be to weather the early storm that is coming. The Canadiens are going to come out flying and fighting. There is no doubt in my mind. They lost a lot of pride last time these two teams played, but if the Bruins can get through the 1st period tied or winning I think they can crush this team.

Bruins win 3-1
Player of the Game: Lucic
Game starts at 7:30pm on NESN
