"MLB.com reports that Justin Morneau will make his first appearance in a spring training game on Tuesday, playing in the Twins' "B" game against the Pirates and starting at first base. He had been making steady progress since the opening of spring training, as he works his way back from a concussion he sustained last July (CBS Sports)."
About damn time, I was really starting to wonder if he had permanent damage or something. The good news is (for us nerds) that he is much less of a risk going into MLB fantasy drafts.
As for the Twins, this is obviously great news. When healthy the Twins should have a very good lineup with Mauer, Morneau, Cuddyer, Delmon Young, and Kubel. You add that with an above average starting rotation and the Twins should once again be making a push for the playoffs.
