Am I the only one or do I think it is absolutely amazing the Yankees will not make the play-offs this year. With the recent injuries of Joba, the loss of Wang and the ineffectiveness of Hughes/ Kennedy/ Rasner the Yankees do not have the pieces to make up the 9 game deficit. Their offense has been pretty questionable as well, Abreu no longer hits homeruns, Cano forgets how to hit all together, Damon is always injured and they cannot get any momentum going. Even though he isn't the star, Paul Byrd would have been a must have player for the Yanks, but the Red Sox made sure that didn't happen.
I believe the Yankees will finish 15 behind the Red Sox.
It will be nice to see the fire sale in the off season.
