Mike Lowell is heading to the DL with an oblique injury. It happened during last nights game, when Lowell seemed to tweak it while taking a swing. Seems like every AL contender has been losing players (except the Twins and Angels). Hopefully the Sox will move Youk over to third and Sean Casey will get a lot more at-bats. It sucks to lose a player like Lowell, but I still like the Red Sox chances of catching the Rays, since they lost Crawford (most likely out for rest of regular season) and Longoria.
