The 5 Best College Football Picks From NOLA

Even though I was 0-2 in my first week of college picks here are my best match-ups (because their hardly are any) and potential upset specials.

#4 Oklahoma vs Cincinnati
I don't this has much of a chance of being an upset, but the Bearcats defense is nothing to scoff at. Cincinnati has many returning players led by DT Terrill Byrd and CB Mike Mickens. However, Oklahoma's high scoring fast pace offense led by QB Sam Bradford might have Cincinnati wondering what happened as they are down 14-0 in the first.

Score: 35 OKL, 10 Cincy

#9 Auburn vs Southern Miss
Since I became an Alabama fan last week I hate Auburn (even though I don't want to). Auburn again has a very strong rushing attack led by junior Ben Tate, but their passing game only finished with 85 total yards. If Southern Miss can find a way to stop their rushing attack they might just have a chance to pull off an upset.

Score: 13 Aub, 21 S.M.

#8 West Virginia vs Eastern Carolina
Last week Eastern Carolina took care of Virginia Tech and this week they plan on the upset of West Virginia. Pat White proved last week that he can win it without Slaton in his back field and that is exactly what he did. White threw for a career high 5 TDs in one game. With that being said, I think White and Joe Devine are too much for ECU to handle.

Score: West Virginia 35, ECU 7

Other games to look out for are:
#17 USF vs UCF
In-state rivals but I think Grothe got this one.

Score: 24 USF, 10 UCF

#22 Utah vs UNLV
I don't believe in Utah and lets see if the victory in Michigan can carry them verse the Running Rebels.

Score: 28 Utah, 21 UNLV

So there you have it. Hopefully this will improve my 0-2 record.
