Brady News

We basically know he will be out for the season, but the Patriots are going through the tests with him, and we should get official word today. Here is what to look for:

1. 3 p.m. Bill Belichick press conference (Belichick's press conference was initially scheduled for 11:45 a.m., but has been pushed back. The Patriots confirmed that Brady is undergoing tests today, and that the Belichick media availability was pushed back because tests would not likely be available at the original time *Boston.com).

2. 3:30 p.m. Media access to the locker room

3. If it is an ACL tear it will take 6-9 months to heal.

**UPDATE** The Patriots released a statement saying "After extensive tests this morning, it was revealed that New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady's left knee, which was injured in the first quarter of yesterday's game, will require surgery. He will be placed on injured reserve and will miss the remainder of the 2008 season." So there you have it, it is official Brady is out for the year.
