Dueling Couches NFL Power Rankings

1. Dallas Cowboys(1-0)- Tony Romo had all day to throw the ball and Terrell Owens benefited greatly from that. Marion Barbers injury could be worrisome.

2. Pittsburgh Steelers(1-0)- Willie Parker silenced the questions about his injured leg when he ran for 138 yards and 3 scores. Also, Big Ben only missed one pass.

3. Denver Broncos(1-0)- Jay Cutler looked scary as he burned the Oakland Raiders for 299 yards without his number 1 receiver.

4. Philadelphia Eagles(1-0)- Donovan McNabb looked ridiculous as he for 361 yards and three touchdowns without number one receiver Kevin Curtis. He's Back.

5. Carolina Panthers(1-0)- Jake Delhomme looked great coming off a serious elbow injury as he led the Panthers in dramatic fashion.

6. NY Giants(1-0)- The Superbowl Champs won their first game against NFC East rival Washington. It wasn't pretty, but they got it done.

7. San Diego Chargers(0-1)- Lost their first game with .2 seconds left, but they still have L.T., Antonio Gates, and Phillip Rivers.

8. Green Bay Packers(1-0)- Aaron Rodgers may not have looked pretty doing it, but he quieted the critics for at least a week.

9. Indianapolis Colts(0-1)- They also lost their first game, but this is also Peyton Manning's first game back since last year. Shit happens.

10. New England Patriots(1-0)- They lost Brady, however, this team has enough talent in the backfield along and Randy Moss to still make the play-offs.

11. Tennessee Titans(1-0)- Vince Young is out 2-4 weeks with an MCL tear, but their defense is too good to count them out.

12. New Orleans Saints(1-0)- Their offense looked really good even without Duece McCallister. Their rebuilt defense could help them win a couple games.

13. Baltimore Ravens(1-0)- The defense looked scary good against the Bengals and John Flacco may be the next Michael Vick.

14. Chicago Bears(1-0)- Kyle Orton will not lose you games, and the defense will keep you in them. Rookie Matt Forte looked really good as well.

15. New York Jets(1-0)- Brett Favre is undefeated as a Jet. But when will his ridiculousness bite him in the ass.

16. Buffalo Bills(1-0)- Edwards looked good, and the defense will be something to watch all season.

17. Jacksonville Jaguars(0-1)- Tough loss to the Titans. They need to get that running game going if they want to do anything this year.

18. Washington Redskins(0-1)- Looked awful, but they have too much talent to fall any further on our rankings.

19. Arizona Cardinals(1-0)- Nice first win, but how long can Warner stay healthy?

20. Atlanta Falcons(1-0)- What a day for Ryan and Turner, but I don't think they can hold up. Too many question marks on this team.

21. Tampa Bay Buccaneers(0-1)- They look old, and when you look down their roster they are old. Garcia is all banged up again.

22. Minnesota Vikings (0-1)- Packers were able to control their running game, and how much longer will they have faith in Tarvaris Jackson?

23. Kansas City Chiefs(0-1)- Gave the Patriots a hell of a game, but are way too young to have any serious impact this year.

24. Miami Dolphins(0-1)- Came close to beating the Jets, and I think they will be in a lot of close games with their new style of play.

25. Seattle Seahawks(0-1)- Got to feel for Hasselbeck he has no one to throw to anymore.

26. St. Louis Rams(0-1)- So much talent, so little offensive line. The defense didn't look very good either.

27. Detroit Lions(0-1)- I guess Kitna is not going to get his 10 wins. Drew Stanton time?

28. Cleveland Browns(0-1)- No defense at all, and the offense really needs to get healthy.

29. Cincinnati Bengals(0-1)- Same as the Browns except even less offense.

30. Houston Texans(0-1)- Pittsburgh killed them, but I think they will get some wins. The defense is a lot better than it played.

31. San Fransisco 49ers(0-1)- Didn't look so bad in week one, but I still don't trust their QB situation, and I don't like Martz style of football.

32. Oakland Raiders(0-1)- Awful in every way. At least they are young.
