It doesn't make sense to me either but the Milwaukee Brewers fired manager Ned Yost and promoted Dale Sveum.
Although the Brewers have stumbled a little bit in September losing 11 of their last 14, they are still tied with the Phillies for the NL Wild Card. I find this a bit odd with 2 weeks left in the season. The Brewers are amidst a play-off run and if they don't make the playoffs they are screwed. CC Sabathia will probably be a Yankee or Angel, Ben Sheets will be gone and this is their real last chance of getting into the play-offs for time to come.
