Yesterday Kyle Orton did something Rex Grossman never could; Not lose a game. Led by the Bears defense and rookie runningback Matt Forte (123 yds and 1 TD) they were able to upset the Colts and Peyton Manning. Manning was relatively quite as he was 30/49 for 257 yards and 1 TD. I don't know whether this game takes more away from the Colts or gives the Bears some credibility.
26 Carolina, 24 San Diego

Probably the most exciting game of the weekend the Carolina Panthers were able to pull off a last second miracle as Jake Delhomme was able to connect with Dante Rosario(who) with 2 seconds left. The AFC favored Chargers weren't able to hold the lead and lost it in crushing fashion. Jake Delhomme finished the game throwing 41 passes coming off elbow surgery and Ladainian Tomlinson jammed his toe on the Chargers final drive.
34 Atlanta, 21 Detroit

Well Matt Ryan's debut in the NFL was pretty successful as the Falcons took it to the Detroit Lions. But the real story has to be Michael Turner who was the Falcons big signing this off season. Turner ran for 220 yards on 20 carries and backup Jerious Norwood chipped in with 93 as well. In Ryan's debut he threw 9/13 passes for 161 yards and 1 TD to Michael Jenkins. If the Falcons can run the ball like crazy like they did in week 1, that will take a lot of pressure off of young Matt Ryan.
