Tonight's Game: Eagles vs Cowboys
While everybody is believing that Dallas is the best team in the NFL and is going to win tonight's game. I will be writing about how the Eagles will beat the Dallas Cowboys. Yes, Dallas has Romo(Jessica Simpson), Owens and Witten on offense. However, the Eagles have Donovan McNabb and that is all they need and that is all they have ever needed. Last week, against a terrible St. Louis team, Donovan threw for 361 yards without his top two targets in Curtis and Brown and made three mediocre wide receivers (Jackson, Lewis and Baskett) look like Jerry Rice. Oh yea, and we haven't even touch upon the best all-around tailback in the league Brian Westbrook. The 5-9, Villanova product has put together a almost Marshall Faulk like career and is nearly impossible to stop or slow down. With Roy Williams forgetting how to cover, I expect McNabb to tear apart the Dallas secondary.
On Defense, Philly is always extremely quick and hard hitting and that does not favor Dallas as well. When Terrell Owens is thinking about touchdown dances, he will be covered by Asanti Samuel, Lito Sheppard, Sheldon Brown, and Brian Dawkins who are an excellent secondary who can cover short and deep routes. If the defensive line, led by Mike Patterson and Trent Cole can contain Barber III and Jones, the Cowboys will have a long day.
