Week 2 Power Rankings
1. Dallas Cowboys(2-0)- Tony Romo had a great game on the biggest stage this week. Terrell Owens is only behind Jerry Rice on all time TD receptions list. Who would have thought.
2. Pittsburgh Steelers(2-0)- Willie Parker ran for another 100 yards as Big Ben proved he can win in hurricane conditions. Also 10-0 in his home state of Ohio.
3. Denver Broncos(2-0)- Jay Cutler looked scary and Brandon Marshall looked scarier as he had 18 receptions in a pretty ridiculous game.
4. NY Giants(2-0)- Dropped 41 on a terrible Rams team. Eli Manning might be a decent QB after all.
5. Philadelphia Eagles(1-1) Lost a shootout against Dallas on Monday night, but no worries, they look like a very strong team.
6. Green Bay Packers(2-0) Aaron Rodgers played one hell of a game as he threw for 328 yards and 3 TDs and hung up 48 points on Detroit.
7. Indianapolis Colts(1-1) They bounced back from a surprising week one loss and beat a good Vikings defense.
8. New England Patriots(2-0) Do what every team does when starting a young QB, pound the ball running and play defense. Cassel doesn't have to win any games, but won't lose any as well.
9. Carolina Panthers(2-0)- Carolina is looking good as they beat a tough Bears D. Rookie Jonathan Stewart might take over for DeAngelo Williams an week now, and they get Steve Smith back from beating up teammates.
10. Tennessee Titans(2-0)The last time the Titans went 2-0 they made it to the Superbowl. Defense is stifling and rookie Chris Johnson leads a strong rushing attack.
11. San Diego Chargers(0-2) Talk about bad luck. San Diego is literally two plays away from being undefeated. Their defense however, is giving up way too many yards.
12.Buffalo Bills(2-0)- Edwards looked good, and the defense will be something to watch all season.
13. Washington Redskins(1-1) Jason Campbell threw for over 300 yards and looks like he could take his game to the next level this year.
14. Baltimore Ravens(1-0)- Hurricane ruined their game so they moved down one spot.
15. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1-1) Beat a bad Atlanta team and I like Griese at the helm. You have to feel sorry for Jeff Garcia if he gets replaced, again.
16. New Orleans Saints (1-1) Heartbreaking loss when Campbell hit Moss for that long TD. Need to get Reggie Bush more involved on offense.
17. Jacksonville Jaguars (0-2)- This is a much better team than most 0-2 teams, but the offensive line is a mess.
18. Arizona Cardinals (2-0)- Warner has this team on track, and watch out for Hightower in the redzone, this kid is a beast.
19. New York Jets (1-1)- Just a couple days ago, they were supposed to in the AFC East, but the Patriots put an end to that going into their stadium and beating them.
20. Minnesota Vikings (0-2)- Another team that is way better then 0-2, but inconsistent QB play is going to plague this team all year.
21. Chicago Bears (1-1)- Has to be happy with being 1-1, but was so close to winning last week. At least Forte seems like the real deal.
22. Seattle Seahawks (0-2)- They have no WRs, and Hasselbeck back is eventually going to go out. The WRs will eventually get healthy, but how far out will they be by then. Thank God they are in a terrible division.
23. Atlanta Falcons (1-1)- Ryan went through what every rookie QB goes through, and I would expect more games like that, then what he did in week 1.
24. San Fransisco 49ers (1-1) - This is a team that will hang around in games, but I still don't trust Martz, and his fun and gun offense will cost them.
25. Kansas City Chiefs (0-2)- I understand that it is a rebuilding year, but they really should have beaten the Raiders
26. Miami Dolphins (0-2)- Lack of talent caught up to them, but they will keep most game close.
27. Detroit Lions (0-2)- Aggravating team, because they have so much talent, but if the Lions lose a couple more games, it may be time to give Stanton a shot.
28. Cleveland Browns (0-2)- Way to much fire power on offense to be this bad. Expect a breakout week soon, but if it doesn't come soon, we may see the beginning of the Quinn Era in Cleveland.
29. Cincinnati Bengals (0-2)- Same as the Browns, but this team is even more of a mess. Offensive line is terrible, and Palmer is going to be lucky if he doesn't get hurt.
30. Houston Texans (0-1)- No game this week, and probably a good thing as they have a lot of injuries at RB.
31. Oakland Raiders (1-1)- Give them credit they won a game, but Russell needs to play a lot better.
32. St. Louis Rams (0-2)- Just awful, and I don't know if they will ever be able to turn it around.
