Browns Want Pioli
"The Cleveland Browns have set a Thursday deadline for New England Patriots vice president Scott Pioli to make a decision on becoming the Browns' top football executive, the Boston Herald reported, citing sources familiar with the negotiations(ESPN)."
I actually think this is a smart move by the Browns. A lot of teams sit back too long, and end up having a hard time putting a team together, but the Browns seem to want to get this done right away, so they can plan for next year. I would hate to see Pioli go, but if he wants the job, he definitely deserves it. He has been a big reason why the Patriots have been so good over the last 7-8 years, but for some reason I still see him passing on this job and waiting for something better (maybe GM for Broncos).
