ABC has finally released the official description of the first episode, which airs tonight at 8pm.
“The remaining island survivors start to feel the effects of the aftermath of moving the island, and Jack and Ben begin their quest to reunite the Oceanic 6 in order to return to the island with Locke's body in an attempt to save their former fellow castaways."
Not a lot of information there, but there are a couple things to be looking for tonight.
- Where did the island move to? Did it go back in time? Forward in time? Or just move to another part of the world?
- We saw Sun basically out for revenge in the last episode of last season. Is she really going to join forced with Widmore, just to get back at...(Jack?, Ben?, Kate?)
- We see in the trailer that Sayid and Hurley have joined up, and seem to be doing some killing. Sayid already works for Ben, and you know Hurley will tag along, but how is Jack going to convince Kate to go back after she saw Claire in a vision in which she told her not to bring her son back?
- Hopefully Jack will still be drinking and popping pills. That's the best Jack.
- What happened that was so bad after the island moved that made Locke leave the island? Why was it Jack's fault?
- What happened to the people who were on the little raft between the island and the freighter? Did they travel with the island? Stuck in some weird time/space thing? Or just stuck in the middle of the ocean?
- What the hell did Sawyer ask Kate to do before he jumped off the helicopter?
Can't wait for the show, I will try to do a recap, even though I don't think I can do it as well as CCook (retired?) did.
