All year I have been repping Alabama to the fullest and although I'm sad Bama isn't in the National Championship game, I am glad that I get to watch their final game in the Superdome tonight. I hated Alabama up until the point I was stuck in Tuscaloosa while driving down to New Orleans and I fell in love with the Tide. I also was shocked at what a real college feels like. Tonight's game against Utah is going to be an interesting one. Bama could very well get upset by the Utes and terrific quarterback Brian Johnson, however, if Bama plays tough, doesn't make mistakes and plays "Bama" football they should have this one in the bag.
An underlying theme in this game will be the David vs Goliath mentality with Utah coming from a small conference going against the big bad SEC. Utah has an extremely balanced offense led by fore mentioned quarterback Brian Johnson. Johnson is a very accurate quarterback who rarely makes mistakes, during the season Johnson had 24 touchdowns to only 9 interceptions. If the run game can get anything going verse a stingy Tide defense Johsnon could be very dangerous. However, the Tides defensive line is pretty close to best in the country and that might be too much for Johnson to shoulder.
The formula is very easy for Bama. Give it to Glen Coffee, Engram a bunch and if that doesn't work, throw it to Julio Jones. That is what Bama has lived by all year and with that offensive line it is very possible to happen.
All in all, I believe Bama will win this game, and the world will see Julio Jones on the national spotlight.
Bama 35-21
