LONG WALK HOME!

I really don't have the energy to talk about or defend the Boston Celtics. I just want to talk about the facts. I saud recently that their losing streak ment nothing, the only thing that mattered was their game against the rivals Clevlend Cavaliers. The Celics blew this game. But not like your thinking. It wasn't blown in the fourth quarter. Not because of the quick start of the Cavs shooting 6 for 6 on their first 6 shots. And it certainly wasn't lost because of LeBron's 38 points. This game was lost at 6:30 at night. An hour before tip off. How does he know that you ask? If you watched the game, you saw a lack luster effort by the Celtics. This was the first time I ever watched this team and said to myself, "is their age getting to them?" Then I came back to reality and realized that their is just no drive. Garrnett is no longer "The Big Ticket" he is mister jump shot. I haven't seen Kevin slam one that shook the building in weeks. The Truth was more like a lie. Getting ebat to every lose ball. Not getting to the line at all, and missing open shots. Jesus Shuttlesworth looked like he did against the Cavs in the playoffs. Off!. Rondo is playing just like a rookie. No confidence. Missing open shots. Walking the ball up the court. Not harassing on defense. The overall team energy just isn't there anymore. They are not playing with that desperation they once had. They are playing like a Joe Average team rather than playing like the champions. So what do we do? How do we get "IT" back? I'm not sure. I'm very scared. This is something we haven't seen for quite a while. I think this slump will last until the All Star break,

Now for the good news. At the start of last year, and basically all through the playoffs last year, I classified the C's as "most hated." Always the under dog. Always having to prove something. The media hated us, the papers, the writers, not an ounce of credit. We win the ship, then start the season with the best start of all time and everyone is on our dick. Well, that really hurt us. We need to be that team with something to prove. KG "what can they say now?" Well Kevin they can say a lot, and they will. Now we are in third place and we are written off. The only light at the end of the tunnel is that the Celtics need to get the mentality back like they have to prove something. No more pressure of being the best. No more streaks, No more records. Lets just get our game back. Cause god help us this may be the last year of "The Big 3" and we need another ring. Celtics, right now I'm glad you need to climb the ladder. The top always feels better when you come from the bottom.
