Celtics Vs Bulls Preview Game 7
Please excuse all typos and spelling errors because this is an article based on emotion. Saturday at 8 pm we will watch the conclusion of what has to be the single most exciting play-off series in recent history. My friends and I usually watch the games together. Cheering, giving high fives, jumping in the air when Ray Allen his clutch shot after clutch shot. I chose to watch game 6 on my own. This series has been very emotional to a Celtic fan. This series has been emotional to the entire sport of basketball. Triple overtime was too much to bare. Every time you thought the Celtics were done, Ray Allen hit a big shot. Wow. That's all I can say. And what looked to be a climatic end, to a very tough series, the 2008 finals MVP gets stripped by Noah. Noah, 7 feet tall, runs the length of the floor, dunks the ball, and draws the foul on the guy who should be taking our last shot. Then he made the free throw. Boston never had a chance after that. When Noah dunked that ball and Pierce fouled out, hearts were broken. They cut to a random shot of Kevin Garnett with his head down. That broke my heart even more. As I write this and re-live the moment I'm getting a tear. When Kevin signs its over...it's over. But there is still life after death. This series demanded a game 7 from the begining. Don't expect a blow out either. Game 7 is coming down to the final shot. I'm amazed at how a series has pulled so much attention. Two teams, by the public standards, have no shot at winning a title. Game 7 is the Celtics and Bulls finals. The championship last year means nothing. Next series doesn't matter either. Saturday night will prove to be a very exciting ending to a very dramatic story. Expect everyone to be on their game. Ray Allen and Ben Gordon will trade big shots. Rondo and Rose will continue to play the game, "anything you can do I can do better." Pierce vs Salmons is looking like a wash. Perk and Noah will trade swagger celebrations after big plays. Big Baby and Tyrus Thomas will continue their childhood rivalry. Doc an d Delnegro will exploit reactions on the sidelines. Maybe even get a technical each. And the Bulls bench will out score the Boston Bench. Does everyone see the moral here. It's not about how good or bad a team is. It's not about the Celtics being the champs and the Bulls being young. It's about the match-up. These teams match-up so well. They bring out the best in each other. That's why when the last shot of the game is taken on game 7, it will decide the outcome of a series. Think about that. We've play 6 games, 5 of them came down to the last shot, 4 went to overtime, 1 double overtime, one triple overtime. Hours and hours of basketball. A whole season. So many points. 108 lead changes. And it will still come down to 1 shot. That's it. So my point is that it's all about the journey. Not the outcome. The journey is amazing because we don't know the outcome. This site favors Boston, so do I...but I won't dare make a claim about this crucial game 7. All I can hope for, is that when we are in overtime of game 7, 3 seconds left, and that final shot is taken, the only thing I can hope is that Ray Allen has the ball in his hands.
