"The Arizona Cardinals took care of their top offseason priority on Thursday by signing two-time Pro Bowl safety Adrian Wilson to a new five-year, $39 million contract, with $18.5 million guaranteed (Sportsline)."
Wilson is the hard-hitting leader of the Cardinals' defense and was a Pro Bowl selection in the 2006 and 2008 seasons. The Cardinals stood a good chance of losing him as his contract was up after this season, but now he is signed with the team through the 2013 season. Wilson is about to join an elite class of players that have 20 INTs and 20 sacks in their career (only 8 have ever done it). Good signing by the Cardinals, now they just have to figure out what to do with Boldin.
