Harrison To Vikings?

"The St. Paul Pioneer Press indicates that there's a "buzz" that Marv will land with the Minnesota Vikings. Furthermore, the 36 year-old Harrison is expected to be signed to a cheap, one-year pact primarily to provide competition for young whippersnapper Sidney Rice (ESPN)."

It is surprising that Harrison is still a free agent. He has had a hell of a career, and even with the off the field problems I thought he would have been picked up by now. This would be a solid pickup for the Vikings. Rice is developing nicely, and Harrison could be a very solid #2. No matter who is at QB (most likely Favre) they are going to need more from their passing game. Obviously they have one of (if not the) best running game in the league. The addition of Harrison with Rice, and a vet QB could be enough to push the Vikings over the top...
