Lowrie Can't Catch A Break
"The Providence Journal reports that Red Sox SS Jed Lowrie, who is rehabbing a wrist injury in the minors, has been slowed by the bruised knee he sustained last Tuesday. He played only half a game Sunday and sat out Monday. "He's overcompensating and he's got a pretty good bruise," said Red Sox manager Terry Francona. "It's nothing serious (Sportsline)."
He took a ball off the knee and now he is having trouble staying in the games. This kid just can't seem to catch a break. He beat out Lugo in the beginning of the season only to go on the DL before the season even started. Now I really have a hard time seeing Lowrie beat out Nick Green who has been playing very well, and is becoming a fan favorite...
