Coco Crisp Done For Year

"Royals CF Coco Crisp will have season-ending surgery on his right shoulder on Wednesday. Crisp, who has been on the disabled list since June 14, will have surgery to repair a torn labrum. The operation will be performed by Dr. James Andrews in Birmingham, Ala (Sportsline)."

Well the trade of Coco Crisp for Ramon Ramirez keeps looking better and better, and with Ellsbury playing well in CF the Sox have to be loving this. Coco is good defensively, but he is worthless at the plate. Before his injury Coco was batting .228 with 14 RBI and 13 stolen bases. I don't know what happened to him since he left the Indians, but he has never been the same. He will try to battle back next season, but with a team stacked with young talent it will only be a matter of time before Coc is on the move again...
