Director John Hughes Dead at 59

"Writer-director John Hughes, Hollywood's youth impresario of the 1980s and '90s who captured the teen and preteen market with such favorites as "Home Alone," "The Breakfast Club" and "Ferris Bueller's Day Off," died Thursday, a spokeswoman said. He was 59. Hughes died of a heart attack during a morning walk in Manhattan, Michelle Bega said. He was in New York to visit family (FoxNews)."

All 3 of those movies are absolute classics. Sucks he died to so young, but at least those movies will be remembered forever...

He was part of so many other great movies:

- Weird Science (1985)
- Planes, Trains & Automobiles (1987)
- The Great Outdoors (1988)
- Uncle Buck (1989)
- Beethoven (1992)
- Dennis the Menace (1993)
- 101 Dalmatians (1996)

Some of those would make my top 50 movies ever...
